The famous Ooty Botanical Garden was made by Graham Mclvor in 1848. It is spread across 22 hectares and it is situated in the lower Doddabetta peak.

This garden into five sections: Lower Garden, Italian Garden, Nurseries, Conservatory and Fern House.

It was built by John Sullivan. The land which was used for its construction was  brought from the Toda people.

10. Parsons Valley Reservoir:


Parsons Valley Reservoir is located near the Ooty Hill Station. It is a Hydel Reservoir which was constructed and undertaken by the Tamil Nadu Government. 

It has a reserved forest area near it which is called Parsons Valley. It is a place for the numerous wildlife and very scenic when looked. It is in the Ooty Mysore road and has a little Waterfalls, Slopes and Trekking Routes.
