What is AI?
A computer system that is designed to be able to emulate intelligent human behavior. AI stands for artificial intelligence, a term that refers to a machine that imitates intelligent human behaviors by learning from its surroundings. Uses Of AI

Different types of artificial intelligence applications are broadly classified into three categories according to their work categories:
1) Narrow AI
Narrow AI is a type of AI that has been programmed with a specific function or task, such as playing chess or driving cars. Narrow AI does not have general intelligence or the ability to do other tasks like human beings. It only knows the skillset it was programmed with. This type of AI uses one or more specialized application areas and has limited capabilities in other application areas. It is also called weak AI and is only limited to infrastructure abilities.
2) General AI
General Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the other hand, can think and act like humans, meaning it can do any task that a human being can do (e.g., think creatively, feel emotions). It refers to a broader set of cognitive abilities across all domains, such as understanding natural language, being able to reason from incomplete information, being able to plan and then carry the operations. It mirrors human intelligence and provides many opportunities for autonomous learning and problem-solving. It is also called “whole brain emulation” where a mental state and brain’s memory are completely transferred to the computer.
3) Superintelligent AI
The last category – Superintelligence AI will the harbinger of intelligent machines and it will be the most successful achievement of human beings. It will set the long-term goals of human-level intelligence. But is not very easy according to the experts. Experts say that it may also become harmful for human beings as the machines will follow the commands only that are given to it but when it comes to dealing with other unknown happenings it may cause trouble and destruction in the technology as well. It is believed that it will become very hard to control them and many believe that it is impossible to control superintelligent machines.
